We are seeking a Director of Premium Products and Services that will work closely with the Executive Team to define the overall strategy on Premium Products and Services of Synacor. The Director of Premium Products and Services will lead the Product Management and Engineering teams to deliver compelling product offerings by executing the defined strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deeply understand the business strategy around premium services in the Internet Service Provider space
• Combine the business strategy with an assessment of user needs and define the product strategy for premium products & services that can be monetized in free-mium model and/or effective tier-ing with high speed internet connections
• Define novel monetization models for all products
• Work with marketing team on the development of strategies to more effectively introduce and promote premium service products
• Develop key performance metrics reports for premium products, closely track and use data backed decisions to align key stakeholders on ongoing basis
• Identify end-to-end process improvements for online sales and product fulfillment of premium products
• Strong focus on competitive analysis backed by data
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need to bring to the table:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MBA preferred
• 8+ years of product development experience in the internet space.
• Working knowledge of financial modeling is a plus
• Deep understanding of monetization models for web products
• Proven experience as a product manager with a technical background or a strong technology leader with a product bend of mind. Ideally this ability has to be backed by proven experience leading teams of product managers and engineers.
• Must possess excellent analytical problem solving and decision making skills to identify effective long-term strategies.
• Hands on experience on scrum is an additional bonus
• Experience working on web strategy in ISP space is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills
